In this post you will find the list of Windows 11 Control Panel commands to directly run them from the Run dialog or command prompt.
With the release of Windows 10 Microsoft has began moving system options from the Control Panel to the “Settings” app. With in Windows 11, that process continues. Now, some classic settings are duplicated in the new UI, and some disappear from the familiar interface of the Control Panel. However, you can launch most of the control panel items from the Run dialog box or by using the command line.
The list below contains commands for launching Control Panel applets in Windows 10 and Windows 11. For some of them, accessing the applet in other ways has become extremely difficult, and therefore the information can be useful.
The list of Windows 11 Control Panel Commands
To run any command from the list below, you just need to press the ⊞ Win + R keys on the keyboard (Win is the key with the Windows logo), type the command into the Run window, and then press the OK button or the ↵ Enter key. The same commands can be used in a command prompt window (see how to open a command prompt).

Pay attention to a couple of things.
- Items that were available in previous versions of the OS, but completely disappeared in Windows 10 and Windows 11 without the ability to launch in any way, or with the only remaining option in the “Settings”, are not included in the list, for example – desktop gadgets or Bluetooth device management.
- For some items, there are several ways to launch them, for example, a MMC snap-in in addition to the control panel command. Some applets will open with a *.cpl file instead of the command.
